My son is sick and I cannot make it tonight. I have 1 ticket for sale if anyone is interested. I live in Round Rock, just 10 min. north of Austin and 20 min from the club. If someone is interested, email me [email protected]. Thanks

LOL, that was too funny.
Thanks Erica, I know he was actually feeling better last night and I could have made it, but reading to him last night felt more important.

Congrats on the move/purchase. I myself have been in Austin 2 years, Im also a California transplant from Orange County.
Circle C is a very, very nice subdivision, vey upscale. I live way on the other side of town in Round Rock, but way on the other side means 15/20 minutes.
Kid Things: Plenty. I have a 3yr old son and an 8 mo girl so we are always doing things. There are numerous Pumpkin patches/farms year round for the kids, there is an older mini theme park in Austin (9 rides) called Kiddie Acres, Raddijaz(sp?) is a neat place to let the kids run around, it is a huge place with foam everything for the kids to bounce off of, There is Pump it Up by me in Round Rock, huge inflatable slides/obstacle courses for the kids to run around, Zilker Park, Barton Springs....I can go on and on...
FOOD: My God, where do I start? Some of the best BBQ anywhere. Stubbs, The Salt Lick, Rudy's, if you want Tex Mex, www.guerostacobar.com, the best. If you want California style Mexican food, then Mesa Rosa off 620....
Hangouts: I don?t go out much at all, but the Continental Club for 50's/Roots/Rockabilly music
Feel free to contact me [email protected] for more! Best of luck!

people are flocking to austin from la.. i heard 20-30 percent of new austinites are from california.. its funny to hear that circle is is upscale.. living in la creates a weird impression of that word.. i bought an unbelievable house for 315,000.. i just sold my house in shitty reseda for 560,000.. an area where i wont put my kids into the local elementary.. i am basically doing this move for my kids.. people of austin are so nice especially compared to LA.. all we need out there now are tommy's and in and out and maybe el pollo loco.. hope the little one is feeling better..
